Carving Pumpkins--American Style with Au Pairs from Hampton Roads, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Williamsburg, Hampton, and Newport News

There is nothing as American as carving pumpkins for Halloween.  Carving with the au pairs is one of my favorite events because it is a uniquely American experience. 

I love to hear them exclaim over what is inside as they pull the top of the pumpkin off.  Most au pairs have had pumpkin seeds, but never roasted their own, so it is an added bonus to show them how.  Afterwards, they love eating the crunchy seeds and posing with their creations.

Partial Government Shutdown Not Effecting Au Pair Visas in Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, & Chesapeake

We wanted to reach out regarding the partial shut-down of the U.S. Federal Government, which began earlier this morning. According to the U.S. Department of State, all embassies and consulates are accepting new visa appointments and processing visas, as normal. Please check with your local consulate and continue to monitor your emails for any updates.
